Mustard oil has been used for centuries as a food additive, miracle cure-all and even an aphrodisiac. And even though its prodigious claims may not have held up, mustard oil remains a common diet staple in India, Pakistan And Bangladesh. The oil is made from crushed or pressed mustard seeds, and can be purchased at almost any grocery store. Mustard oil is beginning to enter the mainstream as an accepted health food. Many food recipes have Mustard oil as their  main ingredient amongst which are home made pickles.
