Aloo Gosht is a dish which is prepared with meat and potatoes both. It usually has lamb or mutton or beef meat, in a stew-like gravy which is known as shorba. The dish can be served and eaten with plain rice or with bread such as roti, paratha or naan. It is a favorite and common dish in Pakistani meals and is commonly consumed. A couple of years back Aloo gosht used to be the main course dish in wedding events but with the variations in cuisines it has been limited to regular dishes only.
